About Speed Dating

Monterey Singles speed dating gives you an exciting opportunity to meet other fun singles in the area. Our parties are held at fun local bars and are organized so you’ll meet tons of available singles on a string of real live mini-dates. When you arrive, you will receive a name tag that will include your name a dater # that will be used for potential matches. You will then begin a series of 5 minute dates.

When it’s time to begin, you’ll talk to the person across from you until your host blows the whistle to indicate your date is over. That’s your signal that it’s time to move on to the next dater for another whirlwind conversation. And on it goes! Get the picture?

After each date, you’ll ever-so-discreetly circle a “yes” or “no” next to each person’s dater number on your match form to indicate if you want to be in touch. At the end of the night, you’ll turn in your match form, and your matches contact info will be emailed to you shortly thereafter. From there, it’s up to you to get in touch with any matches to set up a real date!
